It's not too early...

2 Timothy 3:14-17.....14 You, however, continue in the things that you learned and were persuaded to believe, knowing from what persons you learned them 15 and that from infancy you have known the holy writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through the faith in connection with Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.

These are defiantly pictures I will cherish forever! Its amazing how much a person whose only been alive for two years can learn! I know every parent thinks their child is above average and is sooo smart, but when you see him learning and can look at him and see that his little brain is filing every word your saying away in memory...WOW! Jonas can be taught anything right now....which is amazing as well as scary.

Our new brochure that we bound and
laminated (so the pages wont tear) for jonas!
He loves it!

Friday night Jewels

Hey, every one! So, this is what I did this Friday night! A friend invited my mom and I to come over for a jewelry party. It's a really neat hobby that I may or may not get into... even though I consider myself to be a pretty creative artsy type person....I just felt so overwhelmed with the endless possibilities. Earlier in the week we visited a bead shop in anticipation of the party located  in rice village and it was all so beautiful, but I just couldn't wrap my mind around an idea or inspiration for a piece of jewelry. After attending the party I'm still on the fence as to rather or not I have the time or the imagination for this! All the ladies made gorgeous pieces and I met a couple of sisters from other congregations...that's always a plus!! Down below I've included a few inspirational pics as well as the bead shop we visited. (you can see what I'm talking about!) Oh, and of course the bracelet I made with donated  beads from my mom!
Inspirational picture #1
Im not sure what these charms mean or anything....I just like the general design.

Who's idea was this anyway?

Where do I start...?

Well...(sigh)
Let's just say...I'm all partied out for a while!
From the rentals of miniature tables and chairs to the homemade cookies....ummm yeah.

That's all I got for now...enjoy the pics of this spectacular event!
P.S. It WAS our party...and we DID cry....cause we WANTED to!

That's a lot of water!

My dad has always said he wanted to take jonas to the beach...he wanted to see his reaction to the ocean. So, one day last month my dad took off of work on a monday and we figured it would be the perfect oppertunity to take him...since it wouldn't be too busy. As we all thought...Jonas loved it! He was a little timid, but at the same time so incredibly excited he would just randomly scream. He loved every second of it...and as long as someone was holding his hand he wanted to go deeper and deeper into the ocean. We managed to get him away from the water just long enough to eat some watermelon and cool down for a bit. As nap time approched we changed him, put on a movie, and gave him a tall bottle of cold milk! (yep, he's still drinking from a bottle)
Could I have put anymore sunblock on his forehead?? Ha!
