Disney: Epcot

Epcot is one of my favorite Disney parks...you can travel to many different countries without leaving Florida. I love the many different foods you're able to try as well as the shopping especially the perfume shops that carry select rare fragrances. Although there is not a huge area dedicated to small children Jonas still had a blast!!

Assembly Lunches!

Hello, so this weekend we had our two day district assembly. It was two days packed full of wonderful information and we are truly grateful for such reminders! For lunch I wanted to pack something a little different than just the typical sandwiches. So this is what I packed...

A couple of fun things I made for Jonas:

Homemade note book for "taking notes" aka drawing with color wonder markers and paper...

I also packed his lunch in a Goodbyn that we decorated with his name and other silly stickers...
The day I made him a sandwich I used this fun bread...
I wish I took more pictures of our actual lunches, but I always forget!

I packed our soup in a nice Stanley and it kept our food hot till lunch.

Little old man

This is one of my favorite pictures of my little guy! He was at my mom's house in her room watching TV while I was in the kitchen...he was pretty quite so I peeked in the room to see what he was up to and this is what I saw...he had put my dad's reading glasses on and was drinking milk! I snapped a picture as fast as I could! I didn't get his entire head in the shot...but I still think it looks pretty cute anyway!

Ryan shaves his head for the first time!

So...you may or may not know that Ryan has been loosing his hair for over ten years now!
It's something that he has been able to conceal pretty good...so I know some people had no clue or just didn't know to what extent the hair loss was. We've been planning a trip to Disney for quite a while now and thought...ummm...maybe this would be the perfect time to make such a dramatic change. It would give him time to get  used to it before returning to work or the meetings...time to tan a little...and no one on vacation would ask him questions about it (cause we wouldn't know anyone) just incase he absolutely hated it. As the time came to leave for florida...the anxiety grew...to shave or not to shave...it's not like he could grow it back if it didn't work out.
Well, as most of you know he went through with it and I caught it all on film! I wanted to get his first reaction and also document such a huge decision for him. All said and done...he loves it! We all love it...even though Jonas did have to get used to it...he no longer asks  when daddy's hair is coming back! I think he looks so good and I know its a huge burden off of him.  He can go swimming and actually go under water, or put his top down on his car without a hat, or wrestle with jonas on the floor and not have to worry about messing up his hair.
Here's a little video and pictures of the process!
